How It Works
Our Process
Our process begins after digital templating or upon receiving field measurements. From there, our team reviews the drawing, assesses any special job site notes, and ensures all necessary details—such as sink cutouts, faucet locations, and cooktop cutouts—are included. We then create a build-to drawing including all specific details needed for production. For clients who require it, we also generate individual piece labels to ensure efficient tracking.
Next, we move on to the material layouts, following specific client instructions. If maximizing yield is a priority, we begin by utilizing remnants before moving to full slabs, unless the client has already selected material for the project. After completing layouts—typically using SlabSmith—we generate Cut Sheets or Slab Programs for CNC saws and/or WaterJet machinery, accounting for any material overages required for profiling.
The final step in the process is CNC router programming, where we specify tooling sequences to ensure proper edge detailing for the countertops or stone. Once all steps are completed, we update the client's job tracking software and prepare for the next job.
Pricing
We charge on a cost-per-square-foot basis, which we have found to be a flexible and market-friendly approach for our clients. Pricing varies based on each client's processes, procedures, and requirements. We offer reduced rates for clients who provide higher volumes or agree to a higher daily minimum fee. Ultimately, our goal is to offer the most cost-effective solution for all of our clients' programming needs, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction.
